Custom scripts and pipelines

Brittle, hard to maintain, and dependent on tribal knowledge.

 

Replacing all SCADA systems

Expensive, risky, and rarely delivers true scalability.

 

Adding more tools

Historians, dashboards, portals all help locally, but add more silos globally.

 

Hiring more people

Manual reporting does not scale and burns out teams.

 

None of these address the core issue.

The missing layer

The question is not how to scale SCADA.

The real question is:

"How do we separate control from data distribution without losing trust, security, or context?"

 

Once that separation exists, scale becomes manageable.
